House 123DV
Photo shoot for the Dutch architecture studio 123DV in August 2015.
For a photographer who admires architecture, it is especially gratifying to come across a truly photogenic and balanced home, regardless of its style: modern, contemporary, classic or traditional.
In this case, each frame offered a solid and harmonious result, facilitating fluid and creative work at each shooting point.
The house is located in the El Rosario area, just a few metres from the beach. However, the architect - who is also the owner - made an unconventional decision: due to nearby constructions that compromised privacy and sea views, he designed the house with the swimming pool and the main views towards the mountain, instead of the sea, as is usual in this area.
For the interior shots, and despite the excellent natural light provided by the large, strategically oriented windows, it was necessary to supplement the light with additional lighting. This allowed the interior spaces to be balanced while preserving the visual richness of the exterior views.
